DJ CoolChris and Calen
Entertainment staff specialize in school dances. Plane and simple.
DJ CoolChris performs at multiple school events every year. DJ
CoolChris regularly performs at proms, homecoming dances, military
balls and winter formals. We are a Pasco County School
District approved vendor.
We base our performances and
music selections on requests. Because of our recent speaker,
subwoofer and amplifier remodels it was almost impossible to even
hear requests because the music is just too loud. However we
solved that problem with our new text board; now you can instantly
request a song with out trying to fight your way through the crowd,
by simply texting us from any mobile phone.
Lets face it, we all know that
the DJ can make or break your school dance. The DJ is the heat
and soul of the dance, directing everyone's feet on the dance floor
and pumping all that energy through those speakers all night long.
DJ CoolChris has the experience and the stamina to make that happen.
When you combine his talents with only the best professional
speakers, subwoofers, and intense lighting effects, you are
guaranteed to please the crowd.
All of our music and songs are
radio edits, and if there is not an acceptable radio edit available
of a particular song, we simply will not play it. Our objective is
to create a fun, exciting clean environment for dancing and having a
great time. Because we are already overbooked and have done
substantial equipment upgrades we have been forced to raise our
prices. But we feel its necessary to provide that "club like"
sound and production lighting. We realize that not all school
may be able to afford our services because of this.
You basically have two
options:
1. Do some fundraising...
throw a car wash or something.
2. Call a cheaper DJ. (DJ

We use only the best available
professional equipment and bring an impressive setup to each school
dance. Weather its a winter formal, homecoming or prom, you
can expect the best sound and lighting from DJ CoolChris and Calen
Entertainment. Most DJ's use a fog machine, why? because its
cheap, fills the room with fog, and makes the DJ look official.
We do NOT use a fog machine, we use a hazer. Although hazers
cost upwards of $1000 a piece, we feel its necessary to pay the
price. The haze does NOT give off any odor, can be evacuated quickly
in an emergency, and most importantly for schools does NOT set off
fire alarms. These are just some of the things that set DJ CoolChris
and Calen Entertainment apart from other mobile disk jockeys.
